SandRidge Energy No Longer Under Investigation By DOJ

SandRidge Energy notified shareholders Friday morning that the company is no longer under investigation by the U.S Department of Justice (DOJ.)

In the filing with the SEC SandRidge reports the company was notified by the DOJ that it is, "No longer a subject or target of the previously reported grand jury investigation of possible violations of antitrust laws in the purchase or lease of land, oil, or natural gas rights from 2012 and prior years.”

It is still unknown if this investigation was connected to Chesapeake Energy and the indictment of the late Aubrey McClendon.
