How do the Sooners compare to the rest of the Final Four? We took a look at several important stats -plus a few obscure ones - and stacked up the four remaining teams.
Three-point shooting
1. Oklahoma - As expected, the Sooners lead the group in three-pointers made (376) and percentage (.428). Buddy Hield is 19-for-40 in the tournament.
2. Villanova and Syracuse have comparable trey stats. The Cats made 328 at 35.4 percent while the Orange made 307 on 36.1 percent shooting.
3. North Carolina is the worst team remaining from deep. The Heels have shot 32.1 percent and made 209 to date this season.
Offensive rebounding
1. North Carolina crashes the offensive boards harder than anyone in the Final Four hauling in 527 this season. Having given up 423 to the competition, Carolina is the only Final Four squad with a positive ratio.
2. Syracuse is second but more than 100 behind the Tar Heels with 423. The Orange also give up the most offensive boards to opponents, 455.
3. Oklahoma grabbed 381 offensive rebounds but gave up 427 to opponents.
4. Villanova collected the fewest offensive caroms with 339 but also gave up the fewest (388) to opponents.
Turnovers
1. North Carolina leads this group with the fewest turnovers, 407, and has also forced the second-highest total, 490.
2. Villanova turned it over 418 times this season but the Wildcats forced more turnovers (524) than anyone in the Final Four.
3. Syracuse is right behind Nova with 427 turnovers. The Orange benefited from 479 coming back their way.
4. Out of the Final Four teams, the Sooners turned the ball over the most (465) and created the fewest turnovers, 457. OU is the only Final Four team with a negative turnover differential.
Fouls
1. Syracuse, with its patented 2-3 zone defense, committed the fewest fouls (583) this season. Conversely, the Orange drew the fewest fouls on opponents with 635.
2. Oklahoma was whistled 610 times to 683 on opponents. The Sooners’ -73 difference in fouls-committed to opposition fouls is the highest differential by a Final Four team this year.
3. Villanova was called for 654 fouls compared to 717 called on their opponents.
4. North Carolina committed 686 fouls but still ended up on the right side of the differential with 701 called on Heels opponents.
