Crews Battles Large Grass Fire Near Union City

Multiple fire crews are responded to a large grass fire west of Union City Saturday afternoon.

The Mustang Fire Department was first on scene at 22286 SW 89^th around noon. Crews confirmed with News 9 that a structure had been destroyed.

After an hour, crews from Mustang FD, Union, Minco, and El Reno had most of the fire under control.

Authorities are urging residents not to travel in the areas between 74^th and 89^th west of Union City.
