OSU Women: Cowgirls Six-Game Winning Streak Ends In Austin

Oklahoma State’s six-game winning streak came to an end on Wednesday night with the Cowgirls losing on the road against No. 6 Texas 70-55.

The Cowgirls fought hard, but were ultimately outscored 39-to-28 in the second half to fall to 18-5 on the season.

Oklahoma State led by four points after the first quarter, but lost their lead with just over seven minutes left in the second and were never able to regain it back.

Brittney Martin did her usual damage with 21 points and nine rebounds, while Kaylee Jensen poured in 15 points and 10 boards.

Brooke McCarty led the Longhorns in scoring with 18 points while Ariel Atkins contributed 16 in the win.

The Cowgirls will be back in action on Saturday when they take on West Virginia.
