A man accused of killing his father, former Oklahoma State Labor Commissioner Mark Costello, has waived his right to a preliminary hearing Friday morning.
Christian Costello appeared briefly in court Friday. His family was not present.
A pre-trial hearing is set to take place at 9 a.m. on May 25. That’s when a trial date will be set.
Costello is charged with first-degree murder. Police said he stabbed Commissioner Costello to death at Braum’s, located at 11224 N. May, back in August, 2015.
