Delayed on Day One? Maybe Not

Happy New Year!.. Now sit and wait for your plane. My first flight out of Will Rogers in 2016 was delayed due to weather in Chicago. So here we go -- my Thunder travels will be interesting for a few months while Mother Nature throws her chill into the wind.

Non-stop flight from OKC to Baltimore in about two hours and fifteen minutes, not bad Southwest. I had about two hours before my connection to Charlotte. Where's the Sports Bar? I watched Michigan run over Florida on my left and another Buckeye Fiesta Bowl victory on my right. The Fajitas were just ok -- you're in an airport, what do you expect?

I arrive at my gate to find out my flight was delayed. The gentleman behind the counter said the plane hasn't left Grand Rapids yet, Ouch!

In search of I-Pad and phone power, I moved a few gates away to plug-in and start typing this travel blog. I recharge and start typing when I hear, "For the folks that are waiting for Charlotte your plane is in range and will be landing shortly," Huh? "And the gate has been moved to A-3" I look up and I'm in A-3 already.

I thought my Baltimore flight was fast, who knew a flight from Grand Rapids, Michigan to Maryland only took about 15 minutes.
