With Christmas and New Year's Day quickly approaching, more and more people are getting ready to head home for the holidays.
We've got a new report that let's you in on the "worst" days to travel.
The trade group "Airlines for America" predicts 38 million people will fly between December 18 and January 3. That's a 3 percent jump from 2014.
Because of the increase, the group says there are certain days you should avoid. It predicts December 18, December 27 and January 3 to be the busiest days at U.S. airports.
To avoid most of the congestion, they suggest flying on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
"Airlines For America" also says Hartsfield-Jackson in Atlanta, LAX, and Chicago O'Hare will be the most crowded airports. Also, with the recent attacks in Paris and in California, you can expect longer lines at security.
