Paramedics took a 50-year-old man to the hospital after he tumbled from a ladder Sunday afternoon, EMSA reported.
The man was trying to cut tree limbs affected by the week's winter storms.
Officials said the man's ladder gave way due to the ice. The man was taken to a local hospital in good condition, EMSA said.
Officials urge homeowners to leave tree limb removal to the experts as it can be very serious and dangerous work. Iced branches can be very heavy and could be in contact with power lines.
