A former Choctaw High School baseball pitching star, considered a pro prospect, is missing.

Dalton Viner, 21, recently enrolled at Oklahoma City University, and was set to play for OCU this spring.  However, Viner’s father reported him missing Wednesday to Midwest City Police.  They say no one has seen Viner since Monday.

Dalton Viner is six foot four inches tall and weighs 225 pounds.  He has large tattoos on both upper arms.  He has sandy blonde hair.

Close friends say he was drafted twice by Major League Baseball teams, but has been determined to get a college education.

Police say Dalton may have recently been battling depression.

He was last seen in Midwest City, driving a gray Toyota Camry, with a temporary paper Texas tag.

Tanner Powell grew up with Viner in Choctaw. “Everybody is worried about him.  Everybody is looking for him.  Everybody is worried.”

If you have information, call Midwest City Police at 405-732-2266.
