Police: OKC Security Guard Shoots At Shoplifting Suspect

A Wal-Mart security guard was forced to open fire in the parking lot after a shoplifter allegedly tried to hit him with his car.

A Wal-Mart security guard was forced to open fire in the parking lot after a shoplifter allegedly tried to hit him with his car.

The incident happened at about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday. According to Oklahoma City police, the guard, who's also a reserve officer, followed the shoplifting suspect out of the Belle Isle location. When the suspect drove toward the guard, he fired one shot.

No one was hit. The suspect managed to drive away from the scene.
