MWC Police Search For Man Impersonating Officer

Police in Midwest City are looking for a man who they say is impersonating a police officer.

The MWC Police Department released surveillance video overnight on its Facebook page of the suspect they are looking for. The Department says this person is suspected of impersonating an officer at a business on SE 29th on Monday.

Police say employees thought the man was stealing inside the business. And when workers confronted the man, police then say he flashed a partial badge and claimed to be an undercover officer.

MWC Police are actively investigating this and want this suspect brought in for questioning.
