Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews in the panhandle have mobilized and are plowing and applying sand and salt to highway bridges and roadways. Roads in Cimarron and Texas counties are slushy and slick. Drivers should use additional caution on bridges and overpasses in northwestern Oklahoma this morning as precipitation moves into the area.
Crews in north central and northeastern Oklahoma, including the Tulsa metro, are also treating bridges and areas as needed and continue to monitor conditions. Oklahoma City metro crews are also watching and are ready to treat as necessary.
Other areas of the state are continuing to monitor and are ready to respond as conditions change.
If drivers must travel out of state, they are urged to check area road conditions before heading out.
