Voters in Nichols Hills supported a bond worth millions to give the city a face lift in the Jan. 13 special election. The bond was supported by 96 percent of voters.
The bond passed will give city officials a total of $22 million to upgrade the city's water system, sewage and drainage system, parks, streets, traffic control equipment and the town hall.
Nichols Hills residents also voted to approve an $840,000 bond for communications and data systems and a $500,000 for a public works facility upgrade.
