Firefighters in the Oklahoma City metro area were busy Monday morning fighting two house fires.
The first fire was reported in the 1300 block of S. Henney Road between Reno Avenue and S.E.15th Street in Choctaw. The home was fully engulfed in flames.
No one was home at the time. Firefighters said they were able to rescue two dogs from the home. No one was injured.
The second fire was reported just minutes later before 4 a.m. near Lake Thunderbird. Norman fighters said a mobile home on 120th Avenue Northeast was engulfed in flames when they arrived.This is near East Rock Creek Road.
Crews were able to put out the fire. No one was home at the time and no one was injured.
Fire officials are looking into the cause of both fires.
