The Downtown Edmond Business Association (DEBA) will host the first old-fashioned-themed Fall Festival from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday at Festival Marketplace in downtown Edmond.
This free event will feature pumpkin painting, a vintage tractor display, free horse-drawn carriage rides, a quilt display, live music by the Erica James band and other family-friendly activities.
DEBA said this event will take the place of Trick or Treat on the Street.
“With the various street closings and construction in Downtown Edmond, Trick or Treat on the Street became a safety concern for us," said Downtown Edmond Business Association President Stephanie Carel. "We are excited to present a new event for families and children to gather and enjoy different activities and displays in Downtown Edmond.”
Donations will be accepted to benefit Wings of Edmond, which will also be selling pumpkins at the event.
