A fatal accident involving a train and semi-truck has blocked several railroad crossings in the city of Davis, Oklahoma, Friday morning.
Davis Police Chief Dan Cooper says the crossings may be closed for most of the morning as investigators look into what happened.
Chief Cooper is asking residents to plan ahead and budget extra time in the morning commute. Additional traffic delays are expected due to an increase in train traffic once the accident scene is cleared.
"We are working as fast as we can to get the crossings open. Please say a prayer for all those involved in this accident and investigation," said Chief Cooper.
Police are also asking residents to not call City Hall to report the crossing closings.
