A narcotics search warrant led to the arrest of a husband and wife Thursday in Cushing.
According to the Cushing Police Department, just after 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Cushing officers and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics served a search warrant at 931 E. 9th Street.
Police say officers seized numerous containers containing a green leafy substance, firearms, drug paraphernalia items and cash.
The news release states Adrian Burns, 26, and his wife, 22-year-old Hanna Burns, were arrested and charged with possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a park, maintaining a dwelling where drugs are kept and sold, possession of Marijuana in presence of minor child under the age of 12, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of firearm during the commission of a felony, alter/remove label from prescription pill container and failure to affix tax stamp.
Cushing police encourages the public to report narcotic-related information by phone at 918-225-1212 or through the anonymous Tipsoft portal on their website.
