Bricktown Landing Connects The Canal To Boathouse District

A project that connects Bricktown to the Boathouse District has finally come to fruition.

Oklahoma City and Union Pacific Railroad have signed an agreement that now allows people and boats to travel underneath I-40, between the Bricktown Canal and the Boathouse District.

It's a nearly $4 million project that took nearly two years to complete.

Araceli Aracelirascon and her family are in town visiting from El Paso, TX. She loves the idea.

"It's going to attract more people from out of state, and it's a good experience I'm having right now," Aracelirascon said, Wednesday afternoon.
