Energy FC hosts its first home game in franchise history Saturday evening at 7 p.m. CT against the Orlando City SC Lions at Pribil Stadium in Oklahoma City. The game airs live via YouTube Live and can be heard locally on 96.1 FM KXY.
Energy FC enters Saturday's game with a 2-2-0 record with shutout wins over Orange County (2-0) and Arizona United SC (4-0). Energy FC's losses have come to the LA Galaxy II (4-2) and FC Dallas reserves (1-0). Orlando City is 3-0-2 on the year and coming off a 3-2 win over the FC Dallas reserves in Frisco, Texas, Tuesday evening.
Festivities begin at 4 p.m. CT at the Chesapeake Energy lawn. Beverages for purchase, along with family-friendly activities, are available at the lawn for fans until 6:30 p.m. Admission to the lawn event is free.
Parking at Pribil Stadium and around Bishop McGuinness High Schoool has been sold out for the home opener but parking for all Energy FC home games is available at the Chesapeake Energy parking garage #4 at NW 60th and Classen. A shuttle is available for fans at the lawn party to the stadium beginning at 5 p.m. for $1 per person each direction. Stadium gates open at 5:30 p.m. CT. Programs and pocket schedules are also available free of charge. The box office opens at 1 p.m. and remains open through the duration of the game for fans wishing to buy tickets to future Energy FC games.
Fans are encouraged to monitor the weather forecast as it is expected to be a factor on Saturday. If it is raining, fans are encouraged to bring ponchos or water-resistent jackets. Umbrellas will not be permitted in the stadium.
Other prohibited items include: fireworks, tobacco products, e-cigarretes, vuvuzelas (in Fan Zone / Supporter Section only), air horns and weapons of any kind.
