Former OSU Receiver Blackmon Involved In Car Crash

Former Oklahoma State wide receiver and current Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Justin Blackmon was involved in a single-car accident Saturday morning, but was not injured.

Police also said alcohol was not a factor in the accident.

Blackmon has been suspended indefinitely by the NFL for violating the league's substance-abuse policy after his third violation of the policy last November.

Police said Blackmon lost control of his SUV after a rear tire blew and crashed into the tree line along Interstate 295.

Blackmon can apply for reinstatement for this NFL season, but the Jaguars have the ability to exercise clauses in his contract that void future guarantees due to his past violations.
