OK Deputies Arrest Man Accused Of Stealing From Inmate Phone Terminals

Oklahoma County deputies arrest a man accused of stealing more than $40,000 from telephone terminals located in the Oklahoma County Detention Center.

The sheriff's office says Thomas Caldwell, 65, worked for Telmate, a jail telephone service company which provided the terminals inside the jail.

The sheriff's office says Caldwell removed the cash from the terminals inside the jail on Monday, March 3. However, he never deposited the cash for his employers.

Caldwell is facing six complaints of felony embezzlement.
