Roshunda Johnson and Brittney Martin each converted one of two free throws in the final 19 seconds to allow No. 12 Oklahoma State hold off a late threat from Kansas, 76-74 Wednesday night.
Chelsea Gardner converted two free throws and added a layup with 12 seconds left to cut the Oklahoma State lead to three, 74-71. After Johnson hit the second of two free throws, Charlicia Harper converted a three-point play to make it a one-point game with 12 seconds left, but missed a layup that would have tied the game with two seconds remaining.
LaShawn Jones had 17 points and seven rebounds to lead Oklahoma State (19-3, 8-3 Big 12), with Martin adding 15, Tiffany Bias 14 and Johnson 13.
Kansas (11-12, 4-7) was led by Gardner's 25 points and 11 rebounds. Harper finished with 15 points and Natalie Knight added 12.
