"I felt bad for 3-year Ryan Barrow", said Sheriff Whetsel. "You can never replace a pet, but I felt it was necessary that I do something to bring a smile to Ryan's face."
The Barrow family's new dog is a Chihuahua named "Chili." "Chili" was a stray picked up by Edmond Animal Welfare, the shelter named the dog "Chili", because he was found in the parking lot of a restaurant with his name-sake.
