Overturned Semi Clogs Traffic On SB I-35 At Sooner Rd.

A three-car crash including an overturned 18-wheeler has halted traffic on the southbound lanes of interstate 35, at the Sooner Rd. off ramp, Saturday evening.

According to crews on scene, the semi is on its side and is leaking fuel into the roadway.

Oklahoma City Fire and Police are responding. It is unclear if Hazmat will be needed. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Southbound I-35 is narrowed to one lane between Memorial Rd. in Edmond and the Sooner Rd. exit ramp while crews cleanup the area. Crews on scene estimate cleanup will continue into the night or early Sunday morning.

Drivers should expect traffic delays and avoid the area if possible. 

Authorities have not said if anyone was injured in the crash.
