Oklahoma City is one of the most budget-friendly metros in the country, according to a blog published in Apartment Guide.
The real estate web site looked at internal listing data to choose cities with the lowest average rent and lowest cost of living according to The Council for Community and Economic Research. The listing was part of a guide to staying fiscally fit in 2014.
Oklahoma City was number 9 on the list, but Tulsa was number one.
