MWC Mother Upset After Being Banned From Daughter's School

A Midwest City woman has been banned from her 9-year-old daughter Bianca's school. She says she's being punished for something she didn't do.

Karen Cardona says she had an argument with one of the coaches of her daughter's youth basketball team before a game last Tuesday. She says she was banned for six months because the coach claims Cardona directed profanity at the coach.

Cardona says that's not true, and there are witnesses to prove it.

"I'm Bianca's only biological parent. We haven't seen her dad since she was born. So for me it's very hard," Cardona said.

A Mid-Del School District spokesperson tells News 9 they are following district policies on parental conduct at school-related activities.
