Clint Chelf is the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced today. Through 10 weeks, seven different Cowboys have won eight Player of the Week awards.
Chelf accounted for four touchdowns in OSU's 52-34 win at No. 15 Texas Tech. He completed 18-of-34 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns along with 88 yards and two scores rushing.
Chelf's 67-yard touchdown run in the third quarter was the longest for a Cowboy quarterback since Brent Blackman had a 72-yarder in 1972. Chelf is now the second OSU quarterback to win Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week this season. J.W. Walsh won the award on Sept. 9.
