One Dead In Multi-Car, Semi Accident In Norman

One person is dead following an accident in Norman Thursday morning.

According to Norman police, the crash occurred at 9:30 a.m. near 12th Avenue N.E. and Tecumseh Road. Police believe a sedan traveling northbound went left of center and collided with three other vehicles, including a semi-truck.

The collision occurred a block or so north of Tecumseh Road on 12th Avenue N.E. 12th Avenue was closed between Franklin Road and Tecumseh, while the Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team investigated the incident.

Preliminary information indicates one person, a male, died in the crash. No other injuries are reported. His name has not been released.
