Your 2 Cents: Government Shutdown And The WWII Museum

I said last night shutting down the World War II Memorial to make the Republicans look bad was a miscalculation by the White House. Here's what you had to say.

Rick from Altus writes: "The only one making the Republicans look bad is John Boehner."

Bruce from Norman: "These heroes stormed Normandy. Should they stop for a couple of sawhorse barricades?"

Jeri says: "There were more guards there than there were at the embassy in Benghazi. It was a spiteful act."

Thane from Oklahoma City writes: "You need to be more balanced and fair and stop showing your hatred and dislike for the President."

And Dave adds: "Next thing you will blame the President for WW2! Do you just stir the pot to sell soap or are you just another red neck?

Smith from Chandler: "Why don't you lay the blame for the government shutdown where it belongs? The obstructionist Tea Party jerks."

Finally, Joe says: "This is not a PR stunt. It is simply following the rules that Congress, itself, established."

But Joe the difference is, they could have left the Memorial open just unmanned. It's basically a park. Why did they barricade it and put yellow tape up?
