A large hole opened Friday morning on N.W. 206th Street just east of N. Portland Avenue, closing the road while crews try to determine how to repair it.
The hole opened up around 8 a.m. No one was hurt.
Oklahoma County Commissioner Ray Vaughn says Thursday night's downpour caused the washout. The drain underneath the road couldn't handle all the rain and debris build-up.
The hole is affecting traffic in the area. Crews are not sure when it will be repaired.
