Former Thunder Guard Brewer Close To Deal With Rockets

Former Thunder guard Ronnie Brewer appears to be headed to Oklahoma City's newest rival.

ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting Brewer is finalizing the terms of a two-year, partially-guaranteed contract with the Houston Rockets.  

Oklahoma City acquired Brewer from the Knicks prior to the trade deadline last season, but the deal didn't pan out the way the Thunder hoped.  Brewer played in just 14 games, averaging 0.9 points while never cracking coach Scott Brooks' rotation.
