Detectives are trying to figure out who is responsible for a string of home break-ins in the Spencer and Midwest City area. There have been four reported crimes that have similar details and it seems like the same person may be responsible.
Friday, a home invasion victim who suffered a brutal beating at the hands of the suspect spoke out. She said she jumped in to protect her mother-in-law, who was about to get hit by the suspect.
"He's standing over my mother-in-law and he's like, 'Where' the purse? Where's the purse?" recalled Morris. "He picks up this E-Reader off of the desk that's in that bedroom and he's holding it like this and he's kind of standing over her."
The suspect then turned the attack on Morris who suffered the brunt of is as she tried to force the suspect out of her house.
"I have stitches over this eye. The broken bone in my face where my teeth are. It was shoved back. Um, multiple lacerations on the back of my head, I have staples back there, and of course he hit me in the face here, and I can thankfully see," Morris said.
Not too far away, in Spencer, 90-year-old Vivian Reeser suffered a broken collarbone when a suspect broke into her home over the weekend.

"I heard somebody at the back door and when I pulled the curtains back, he was standing there and it didn't take him any time to break that door down," Reeser said.
Midwest City Police and Spencer Police are investigating the recent attacks. A spokesman with the Midwest City police said their detectives have been following up on multiple leads and they hope to catch the man responsible before he strikes again.
