The Oklahoma City Thunder will make appearances again in Tulsa and Wichita, Kan., for preseason games this year. The team hosts the New Orleans Pelicans at the BOK Center on Oct. 17th and then they will take on the Chicago Bulls at the INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita on Oct. 23rd.
"The entire Thunder organization, from players to coaches to staff, thoroughly enjoyed our previous experiences in Tulsa and Wichita, so we are thrilled to return," said Brian Byrnes, senior vice president of Sales and Marketing for the Thunder. "The energy in the buildings and the overwhelming support of the fans was tremendous. We are excited to have another opportunity to enhance our connection to Thunder fans in the region."
This will be the fifth time the Thunder has visited the BOK Center for a preseason game and the second consecutive season to visit Wichita.
Tickets for both preseason games go on sale next month on the arenas' websites. For information on tickets, go to www.bokcenter.com and www.intrustbankarena.com.
