An earthquake rumbled near the town of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Sunday night.
The epicenter of the quake was located about two miles north, northeast of Choctaw and about 16 miles east of the Oklahoma City metro area, at around 8:54 p.m.
The quake weighed in at a magnitude 2.7 on the Richter Scale and was recorded at a depth of about three miles.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), quakes with magnitudes from 2.5 to 3 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans.
There have been no reports of any injuries or damage related to this quake.
