Oklahoma State's women's tennis team jumped six spots to No. 36 in the latest rankings released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Tuesday.
Oklahoma State (4-1) also boasts two players appearing in the ITA singles rankings. Senior Malika Rose comes in at No. 75 in the latest rankings, and sophomore Meghan Blevins is slotted at 125th.
The Cowgirls have won three straight matches, and are coming off of an impressive weekend in Oklahoma City, defeating No. 41 Minnesota 7-0 on Saturday, and No. 37 Arkansas on Sunday, 4-3.
Oklahoma State looks to keep rolling as they travel to Mississippi this weekend for a pair of matches. The Cowgirls will face off against the 26th-ranked Lady Rebels of Ole Miss in Jackson, Miss., on Friday at 2 p.m. The team will then head to Starkville, Miss., for a showdown with Mississippi State on Saturday at 4 p.m.
