Phil Forte put on a shooting clinic Saturday in Stillwater, draining six three-pointers and scoring 22 points to lead No. 24 Oklahoma State to a 78-42 blowout of Tennessee Tech.
Forte led five Cowboys in double-digits, including freshman Kamari Murphy who scored 12 points on 5-7 shooting.
Freshman Marcus Smart also had a solid day from downtown, hitting 3-7 from behind the arc en route to 11 points. Smart also finished with four rebounds, four assists and four steals.
Kirby Gardner provided a nice spark off the bench for OSU, dishing out seven assists and grabbing five steals to go along with his 10 points.
Jud Dillard led Tennessee Tech (6-6) with 18 points and six rebounds. The Golden Eagles committed 20 turnovers and only had three points off the bench.
The Cowboys (10-1) are now off for the holidays and will begin preparations for their New Year's Eve home showdown against the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
