Choctaw Man Arrested For Possession Of Child Porn

Authorities arrested a Choctaw man for the possession of child pornography during an undercover investigation over the Internet.

Robert E. Malone, 75, was arrested on three counts of distribution of child Pornography, five counts of possession of child Pornography, and one count of violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

Authorities say Malone distributed child pornography to the undercover agent on three different dates. At about 8 a.m. Friday, the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children members from the Guthrie Police Department, Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, Oklahoma Attorney General's Office, and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, served a search warrant at Malone's home in Choctaw.

Investigators found several digital storage devices in Malone's home that contained child pornography. All items were seized and will be sent to the OSBI Computer Crimes Unit for further examination.

Authorities say the case is still under investigation, and they are trying to determine if any local children were in the images. Malone has been booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.
