The Oklahoma City RedHawks dropped their second straight game, losing 4-1 at Round Rock in the final game of the teams' four-game series.
Round Rock's Alberto Gonzalez got the scoring started in the bottom of the fourth inning when he connected on an RBI ground-ball single to score Joey Butler for a 1-0 Express lead.
The RedHawks pulled the game even in the top of the fifth inning when Angel Sanchez singled on a soft fly ball to right field to score Matt Dominguez for OKC's only run of the game.
The Express closed out the RedHawks by locking down its defense and belting two home runs. The first homer came from Joey Butler in the bottom of the sixth. Then Leonys Martin hit a two-run shot over the right field wall to make it 4-1 Express.
OKC's Rudy Owens was charged with the loss after giving up four hits and two earned runs in six innings on the mound.
Oklahoma City scored just one run despite collecting 10 hits. Round Rock had seven hits and neither team committed an error.
Oklahoma City travels to Iowa for a five-game series against the Cubs, starting Wednesday at 7:05 p.m.
