The RedHawks pitching continued to struggle Wednesday night, losing 7-4 to the Tacoma Rainiers.
The loss is the fourth straight for OKC, and the 16th time in 17 games the team has allowed five or more runs against it.
Wednesday night's victim was Jake Buchanan, allowing five earned runs in just four innings for Oklahoma City.
Trailing 5-2 in the sixth inning, The RedHawks made it close with RBI singles from Brian Bixler and Brad Snyder to cut the lead to 5-4.
But Tacoma distanced themselves again in the bottom of the eighth with two more runs to clinch the win.
OKC will look to turn things around at 9:05 Thursday night in Tacoma.
