Brett Wallace hit a three-run homerun Saturday night to help the Oklahoma City RedHawks take down the Omaha Storm Chasers 6-2.
Leading 1-0 in the third inning, Wallace crushed his 16th longball of the season over the center field wall to increase that lead to 4-0.
Wil Myers answered with a solo shot in the fourth for Omaha to make it 4-1, but OKC put an end to any potential comeback in the fifth when Matt Dominguez doubled home two runners to make it 6-1.
Jose Cisnero pitched well for the RedHawks, allowing just one earned run over seven innings.
The win improves Oklahoma City's record to 5-0 against Omaha this month.
The four-game home series continues Sunday evening at 6 p.m. in Bricktown.
