Police are searching for a man they say flashed naked pictures at a 12-year-old girl in Nichols Hills and they say this may not be the first time he has approached a young girl.
Following two reports of a possible child predator, Nichols Hills Police began sending out a warning to all parents saying there are several sex offenders living in the area, some of them convicted for child sex crimes.
While walking home from the Oklahoma City Country Club, a 12-year-old girl crossed paths with a stranger at Grand Blvd. Police say when the 12-year-old girl looked toward the passing car the driver immediately caught her attention by doing something inappropriate.
The suspect's description is vague. Police Chief Richard Mask says a white male driving a red four-door car is all they have to go on. But police say it may be connected to another incident reported a few days earlier when a 9-year-old girl riding her bike in the neighborhood was approached by a man in a four-door red car.
In both instances the girls were unable to get a good look at the guy. So police say they are first looking at registered sex offenders in the area.
Police are asking parents in Nichols Hills to educate their children about stranger danger and keep an eye out for anyone acting suspicious.
