Judge Orders New Trial For OKC Man Convicted Of Murder

An Oklahoma County Judge has ordered a new trial for a convicted killer, saying prosecutors withheld evidence from defense attorneys.

Billy Thompson was convicted in March of stabbing Manuel Sanchez to death in south Oklahoma City.

District Judge Donald Deason ordered a new trial after learning prosecutors didn't tell the defense about inconsistent statements from witnesses.

Thompson's new trial will be in October.
