Oklahoma head coach Lon Kruger added yet another piece to his 2012 recruiting haul, as Mount Vernon shooting guard Isaiah Cousins announced his commitment to the Sooners Wednesday.
The 6-foot-3, 175-pound guard played in 30 games his senior season, averaging 28.3 points per contest, leading the Knights to a state championship. Cousins was also considering offers from Xavier, Virginia Tech, South Carolina and Connecticut.
The three-star guard becomes the third shooting guard committed to Oklahoma, joining four-stars Jelon Hornbeack and Buddy Heild. The Sooners hope to add plenty of talent in the near future, attempting to improve on a disappointing 15-16 finish in 2011-2012.
