Keilani Ricketts Earns Third Pitcher Of Week Award

Oklahoma standout Keilani Ricketts was named the Big 12's Pitcher of the Week Tuesday, her third such honor this season.

Ricketts, a left handed junior, led the Sooners to its first conference win of the season with two wins over No. 15 Baylor by striking out 14 batters for her 10th game of the season with at least 10 strikeouts.

In addition, Ricketts held the Lady Bears to just four hits.

On the weekend, Ricketts gave up nine hits in 13 innings of play and had zero earned runs. She is now 14-4 on the season from the mound.

The Sooners return to action Wednesday in the first Beldam Softball game of the season against Oklahoma State at 7:30 p.m. in Oklahoma City.
