STILLWATER, Oklahoma – OSU freshman forward Le'Bryan Nash and senior guard Keiton Page both picked up honors as the Big 12 men's basketball awards were announced on Sunday.
Nash was named the co-freshman of the year along with Baylor forward Quincy Miller.
He is the first Cowboy in school history to be named the conference's Freshman of the Year. He averaged 13.3 points per game – the highest of any freshman – and also made the All-Rookie team.
Page was named All-Big 12 Second Team for his senior season efforts at Oklahoma State.
He averaged 16.8 points per game, good for fifth in the Big 12. Page also set OSU career records this year for minutes played and 3-pointers made.
Thomas Robinson of Kansas was the Big 12 Player of the Year, and his coach Bill Self along with Iowa State's Fred Hoiberg shared Coach of the Year honors.
Steven Pledger and Romero Osby of Oklahoma both received All-Big 12 Honorable Mention.
