MUSTANG, Oklahoma – The wife of Nichols Hills Fire Chief Keith Bryan says a gunman spoke to her just moments after he shot and killed her husband.
Becky Bryan says just after 10 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, a man walked into the couple's Mustang home in the 1300 block of Rose Hill Drive. Mrs. Bryan tells News 9's Stan Miller the couple hadn't locked up the house for the night yet, and the gunmen got in through an open garage door.
Mrs. Bryan says her husband was in the living room when the shooter walked up to him, put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger. She says the man turned to her and said, "I'm sorry. He should have given me the f-----g job."
Mrs. Bryan says the man then left the house and drove away. Her husband died Wednesday morning from the gunshot wound.
