OKLAHOMA CITY -- In the weekly report card segment, John Holcomb breaks down the Oklahoma State Cowboys' 37-14 win over the Arizona Wildcats.
Offensively, Oklahoma State amassed nearly 600 total yards – including 197 on the ground – and got big production from the big names. Brandon Weeden passed for 397 and two scores, Justin Blackmon on the receiving end of both scores, while sophomore running back Joseph Randle accounted for 213 total yards and two scores.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Cowboys kept the Wildcats off the board nearly until the fourth quarter, giving up the first score of the game with 30 seconds to play in the third. OSU ended up allowing two scores, giving up just 41 rushing yards in the process.
The Cowboys had quite a few penalties on special teams, but held the Wildcats to just 19 yards per kick return and only punted the ball once.
