NORMAN, Oklahoma – ESPN's College GameDay will once again feature the Oklahoma Sooners this season for its Sept. 17 matchup against the Florida State Seminoles.
The Saturday, Sept. 17 matchup between the No. 1 Sooners and No. 5 Seminoles will air on ESPN or ABC and the whole ESPN GameDay crew will be back in action for the big game.
Erin Andrews will host GameDay starting at 8 a.m. that day to preview the top-five matchup and she will also report from the sidelines during the game.
Chris Fowler will host GameDay from 9 a.m. to 11a.m. on ESPN, while Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard all return as game analysts.
This year's appearance on GameDay is the 25th time ESPN's College GameDay has been on site for an OU game, ranking third behind Florida who has been on the show 32 times and Ohio State with 29.
The Sooners have posted a 17-8 record in those games which traditionally involve matchups between highly-ranked teams.
The Sooners first game of the season is set for Sept. 3 in Norman against the University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane at 7 p.m.
