Stigler Teen Arrested For Double Shooting, Kills Step-Father

STIGLER, Oklahoma -- The Haskell County Sheriff's Department are investigating a double shooting near Stigler Monday evening.

Stigler Police received a 911 call from Joshua Alan Bowen at about 6:45 p.m. He reported that he had found his mother and step-father shot at their home located at 20159 East Perry Road in Stigler.

Bowen's 71-year-old step-father Herbert Wayne Moore was dead at the scene.

Bowen's mother Vickie Lynn Moore was still alive and transported to the local hospital.

Based on the information provided by the mother regarding the shooting, Haskell County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 18-year-old Bowen for the murder.
