OKLAHOMA CITY -- The annual Sooner State Games are taking place all over the state, with several events, including track and field, which was held at Putnam City High School Saturday.

In addition to track and field, judo and karate also competed Saturday, with eight more events to be held the next weekend.

A medal in the Sooner State Games qualifies an athlete for the National State Games, set to be held August 4-7 in San Diego, Calif.
